Monkey World – Ape Rescue Centre

This internationally acclaimed centre provides sanctuary for monkeys and apes from around the world, many rescued from the illegal pet trade or laboratories. See chimpanzees, orangutans, gibbons, and various monkey species living in spacious, naturalistic enclosures. Informative keeper talks throughout the day explain the primates’ stories and the centre’s conservation work. Kids love the Great Ape Play Area, one of the largest adventure playgrounds in the South.
