About The Forbidden Corner
Discover a unique labyrinth of tunnels, chambers, follies, and surprises at The Forbidden Corner in the Yorkshire Dales. Originally a private folly garden, it’s now a public attraction designed to delight and challenge families. There’s no set path – explore at your own pace, encountering strange statues, water features (prepare to get splashed!), dead ends, and hidden passages. It’s a place of mystery and humour where you’re never quite sure what’s around the next corner. Best suited for families who enjoy exploring and a bit of quirky adventure. Pre-booking tickets online is absolutely essential as entry is timed and limited.
