Dedham Boathouse Boat Hire is on the River Stour and is a popular activity in the summer months.
The Boat Yard, located on the bank of the river offers boat hire for families of up to 4 adults or 5 people with children in the party,
Boat Hire is available from 9am until last boat hire at 4pm and costs £20 per hour per boat.
No minimum age but a responsible person over 17yrs of age has to be present in the boat. No advanced bookings for boat hire either, they can be hired on the day at the kiosk.
Peak periods are between 11am and 3pm on holidays and weekends. Please try to visit outside these times if possible and ensure you park responsibly, and are considerate of local residents.
Kiosk also serving coffee, ice creams and snacks for a grab-and-go option
