About Weston Park Museum
Discover Sheffield’s stories and explore the world at Weston Park Museum. This family-friendly museum offers a fantastic free day out with diverse galleries covering natural history, ancient Egypt, Sheffield’s social and industrial heritage, and art. Children are particularly drawn to the What on Earth! gallery with its animal displays (including Snowy the polar bear!), the interactive Arctic World exhibits, and the Treasures gallery showcasing fascinating objects. The museum often hosts temporary exhibitions and family activities, especially during school holidays, featuring crafts, trails, and workshops designed to engage young minds. Set within the lovely Weston Park, it’s easy to combine a museum visit with outdoor play.
